Does anybody know about any devices that can convert Component signals to DVI signals? The only one I can find is this

But I can't afford two grand and even If I could I would only use 3 mabey 4 of those inputs kind of a waste of good money when you think about it.

What is your setup??

Right now it's a ViewSonic 24" P220FB CRT computer moniter. I us one of those tv signal to vga converts that ViewSonic sells. But I plan on upgrading to this.

I know what your thinking, this moniter well have a component input. But I heard that a lot of moniters with component inputs won't keep it at a 16:9 ratio and instead stretchs it to the 16:10 screen. I just want to prepair for that case.

I don't see the point of wasting your money and getting a converter. Best thing is to sell your Viewsonic and get a monitor with a proper inputs.

The Sceptre you are looking at is HDCP ready, a converter will prevent the HDCP signals for HDTV content that use HDCP content protection, so I'd skip out on a converter.

Besides, I've a 16:10 display and the 16:9 content is not "streched", you'll have two small black bands on the top/bottom as the display scales for the content, if this doesn't happen then the software being used is lame. Media Player 11 handles the differences properly (testing with 1080P WMV HD content).

I've heard some people say that whe using moniters such as these with a when useing a component hook up it will still display 16:9 content as 16:10 content no black bars on the top and bottem. I looking into this mainly for my nintendo wii so HDCP is not a problem. Besides the only HDCP device I plan on getting is the PS3 so I'll just use the HDMI input for that.
