Hi
Just ordered i5-4690K and GA-H97M-D3H motherboard. Already got R9 270 Video Card and 250 gb SSD, DVD rom and case. Which ram should i get( need about 8GB), and second hard drive about 500gb.

I have old HX 520 watt PSU can i use it or need new PSU?

Thank you

Personally, I would go with that Crucial Ram : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148540

For the hard drive, I'm a Seagate fan so : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148767

As for the PSU, I've got two questions for you :

1) You've bought a "K" CPU; so I assume that you plan to overclock it. Correct ?
2) How old is that HX 520 PSU ?

Because of the quality parts you've already bought, I would change the PSU; especially if you plan to do some overclocking.

1. No, maybe not, cause it was on sale $190
2. 3 or more year old.

That Corsair model had good reviews in the past; if you're sure you won't overclock, you could keep it for now but plan to buy a new PSU in 2 or 3 years

Thank you. Which PSU you recommended if i overclock and cooling ? Is it easy to overclock ?

Frankly, I've never done any overclocking but I do know that a better and more powerful PSU is a requirement in this matter. From another thread I'll give a PSU proposed by the moderator Dangman yesterday (Seasonic SSR-650RM) :

As for overclocking a CPU, I'm sure the community here will give you info and links to help you with this.

I've heard a lot of good things over the years for the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO for an affordable cooling option; but maybe better products are available now.

Edit : Also, please check if your motherboard has some good overclocking capabilities...

You can't overclock the i5-4690K with the GA-H97M-D3H. You need a Z97 motherboard.

Can you return the Gigabyte board?

Thank you guys

I recommend the XFX power supply. They're about the same quality-wise but the XFX power supply is a bit cheaper.

Thanks, but they are same price right now.
