I need some Information before I spend the Money. I have an Xbox 360 with the Regular Component Cabled that came with it and ive been researching 3rd party cables and Ive found Monster to be the Best.

Do you know how much of a Difference the Monster Cables have over the 360 cables that came with the system.

no difference.

Any difference you notice will be placebo with that short of a run of cables.

If the cables were 20 -25 feet then the shielding would play a role - perhaps - and the monsters might win out --- BUT for a 3 -5 foot distance - it's a complete and utter waste of money.

Anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to sell you something.

Some people will come on here and say Monster Products suck - etc etc etc - that's not true - they are decent products but overpriced....NOW recognize the real point of your question isn't monster sucks or doesn't, but the real point is that the cable will make no difference in the short 3 foot run you have. Both cables will have be 75 ohm cables, both on that short of a run will trasmit the EXACT same signal at the exact same strength with basically no distortion/interferance.

well im not worried about the price cause walmart has them with the fiber optic audio cable for 30 dollar clearance. I was just wondering if the monster cable is better then my stock 360 component cable.

No, but if they were longer, that might be a plus, depending on your situation.

If my walmart has them, I might go pick up a set at that price, because we always have someone bringing over a 360. What do regular MS ones cost at retail?

I'm still sad I missed the 3 dollar deal for the MS ones at slickdeals.

ms cables are 39.99 and themonsters are originaly 69.99 with the audio cable.

they aren't better period at this length of cable...if you keep bumping this you'll keep getting the same response...but feel free to continue to bump - perhaps it will further verify.

If you buy them make sure and come back here and warn other folk who don't like to listen to sound advice that we were right.

As I mentioned in my earlier post....In cabling the ONLY difference is sheilding and ohms. Copper wire is Copper wire. Component cable is 75 ohm whether it's microsoft or monster. Audio interlink cable (traditional RCA style connectors standard) is 50 ohm. Video composite cable(yellow RCA), Video Component cable ( 3 color vide cable), digital coax cable, and subwoofer cable is 75 ohm.Sheilding is better on Monster products than most other retail products, but shielding doesn't make a lick of difference on a 3 foot cable in this case. Microsoft's cable is actually decent construction to begin with.

Check www.avsforum.com for verification. Those are some hard core audio visual guys in that group.

30 bucks is cheap enough, maybe you could buy it and sell it on ebay for a small profit.
