I installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 on my desktop, and I also installed the intel rapid start driver that came with the motherboard.

But when I googled intel rapid start, I found this instruction manual from intel that tells me I should do certain things to enable the function.

Do I need to go through all the steps listed in the document, or is installing the driver alone sufficient to get the benefits of rapid start?
