I'm planning to build a MATX system, and I found a board in my price range.

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16813128078

I looked on the gigabyte website and found the compatibility chart for memory. however, I noticed they did not test many 2gb sticks, and I plan to put in 4gb ( 2 x 2gb sticks). so, if I choose memory that was not tested as 2gb sticks, will it still work? also, what if I choose memory that is not even listed in the chart? I was considering some mushkin brand mem, as I've used mushkin in the past and I like it. thanks :D

oh and one more question. while I was searching for a board, I had to skip a lot in that price range because they did not offer dual channel support. is dual channel really beneficial? also, I'm not too familiar with chipsets. in the past I've had nforce boards that worked well, but this gigabyte mobo has intel chipsets. how do they compare? is the intel chipset on this board really good? thanks again!
