Comparable to Antec 1200 Case?

I'm looking at the Antec 1200 http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=15120

Does anybody know of something similar or other cases that are really great build quality with the way they are designed? I don't need a window, but I want something that has plenty of fans so I can turn them all very low and cool my rig without excessive noise.

I'm planning on getting 1 or more VelociRaptor hard drives ( http://gizmodo.com/382013/western-digital-velociraptor-is-new-fastest-hard-drive-ever ) and I need a case that has fans placed in the correct spots so that airflow blows threw the fins and not fighting fin design from the side.

I don't need something as large as the 1200, but I assume big is the only way to get so many fans. I did like the fact that the 1200 is fairly new.

Room for a large power supply is a must as I'm fairly set on getting a Corsair 1000watter. With room for that I don't think I need to say it, but I will as I need room to fit a 9800GX2 in the case without the hard drives being cramped up against the butt of the card.

one thing...

the velociraptor doesn't need a fan blowing directly on it. it doesn't get that hot. the heatsink is just for show, and to get it to fit in a normal 3.5" bay. therefore the orientation doesn't matter.

the only similar case i can think of off the top of my head is the Lian Li P80 (i think). i'd personally take the 1200 because i don't like doors, and the 140mm fans on the LiLi will reduce your options in replacing them.

the best way to get good airflow with minimal noise isn't to use a lot of fans, it's to use good quality, low RPM fans in the right locations. yate loons would do fine, or the lower RPM sythes (s-flex or slipstream).

it might be easier to advise you further if you were to mention what this computer was for. well, with a GX2 i assume you'll be doing at least some gaming, but more specifically i wanted to know if you plan to do any OCing.

finally, 1000W is almost definately overkill, unless you're accomodating for future expansion/additions.
 
Yeah pretty much knew I didn't need a fan blowing directly on the hard drives, but if I have to pack 4 together (just incase) I think that they might need a fan blowing on them and I want the airflow to be correct.

Basically gaming and movie watching other than regular web surfing and web designing. I am doing overclocking as much as my mobo will allow (Formula Rampage) with it's noobie cmos settings, but nothing more than that and it's all air cooled. The 1200 case comes with its own Antec fans and they have nobs on the outside for each/most fans so to replace them with other fans that are supposedly of better quality would be quite a bit of work.

I like the case you recommended, but its $430.69 (pricegrabber) is a little <cough> beyond what I'm willing to pay for "quality.

I think your right about it's fans too. I don't want soo many fans that are of strange size that it could be a problem in the future to replace them.

On the PSU front, you're right that I'm mainly getting it to be setup for the future.

Is that case you recommended all aluminum? I know Lian Li is known for aluminum cases, but from looking at the case, other than the front fans, I don't see anything else too special about it.
