Ok, i recently purchased a Compaq presario 1700T series notebook from eBay. from what the ad listed it came with no hd, ram or ps. I've bought and installed all of that but when turned on it would show a white screen then shut down. I could hear the HD powering up and i think i could hear the fan also. The only thing i could think of that could be wrong with it is either the processor or the mobo. Im not that familiar with laptops When i opened her up you could definitely tell that someone before me had opened her up as there was screws missing. My question is can anyone show me pictures of a laptop maybe around the same setup without a processor that would be nice.
