So what kinds of Compact Flash cards are you all using?

I use two cards.

512 MB Lexar Professional 80x
1 GB Kingston Elite Pro

The Kingston Elite Pro is probably one of the best buys in CF, you can buy it from Zip Zoom Fly for around $66 with free 2nd day shipping.

SanDisk Ultra II 512MB
Dane-Elec 512MB (came with camera)

I have 1 card...

  • 1GB SanDisk Ultra II

Was about $87 when I got it. My current camera tops out writing at 1.3MB/s so it would perform about the same as the $55 cards @ different online retailers...

I have two:

1.) 1 gb Sandisk Ultra II (about $89 - $20 mail in rebate) - Canon Pro1
2.) 1 gb Lexar 40x (Free, with the Rebel XT Bundle :) ) - Rebel XT

I use a couple of hitachi 4gb type II, and 1 ea of sandisk ultra II in 1gb and 256mb. I generally leave the 1gb sandisk in for everyday shooting, and pop in the 4gb when I am away from home and know I will be shooting lots of pics. There is a rather large difference in record time between the two - so shooting in continuous drive works better with the ultras.
