Also purchase an Antec Truepower 330 WaTT, ATX12V.

Installed mobo, processor, power supply, cdrom, harddrive,

but my memory won't work. It had worked with my computer before, but here are the specs.

1) Samsung PC2700U-25330-AO
M368L3223DTL-CB3
256MB DDR PC2700 CL2.5

2) 256MB DDR-333MHz-CL2.5
PC2700U-25330 3-2100101
* Don't know brand.

But basically, i installed both of the sticks into the blue slots (as recommended in manual) but i still had the spaced *beep* *beep* *beep* going on. What can I do to fix this?

Thank you,
Roboctor

There should be a jumper with three pins close to the battery, they may be marked run and reset, but if they aren't take the little black (or blue) jumper off the two pins, where it is now, and move it to the next two pins, using the center pin as the common. If you can't find the jumper, just take the battery out for five minutes. This all done with your machine shut off of course.

If you don't have the board's manual, download it. It's there for a reason.

As he stated, it's near the battery. A line of 3 pins. Some boards only have 2 solder spots you short instead, but those are generally older boards.

could the problem possibly be that the ram is shot? What could possibly be wrong with the RAM?

haha, funny. Finally got the problem fixed. A few things were messed up of which I had to fix.

Thanks
