We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

comp just randomly restarted

BSOD possibly

I love how the default setting of XP is to restart instead of telling you it's crashed. Sure, it doesn't show a BSOD- "No more BSOD's"... but it still crashes.

You can turn off the automatic restart.

Right click My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced

Click the 'settings' under 'Startup and recovery'

Unselect 'Automatic Restart'.

Now, if you crash, it'll at least BSOD for you and tell you why. You'll usually have to restart anyhow, but at least you know you restarted and it's not bizarrely resetting itself.

Yes, CD drives can cause BSOD's, happens with mine on occassion, I get a KERNEL_STACI_IN_PAGE_ERROR or something of the sort.

2k pro/XP, makes no difference, they're both set to restart without halting by default.

You must be very new to the Windows world if you don't know what a BSOD is. Blue Screen of Death. When something goes wrong with Windows, like say, a memory error, the screen turns blue and tells you windows did something stupid or something happened and you have to reboot.
