Comp freezes in windows on reboot?

I am running XP Pro with an xp2500+, nf7-s, radeon 9600, 1 gig buffalo tech ram


I am at 1.70 volts for the proc and 2000 mhz (I forget the exact FSB, but it is all FSB). I think the timing is pretty conservative - 8-3-3-6 or something close to that.

Whenever I am on my comp for a while and I want to reboot just to clear things up, it freezes after I enter windows. Not sure why but it always happens - can't move the mouse or use the keyboard.

I have to manually restart it from there, and it will work every time.

What could the problem be?

Looking for a little help here... anyone?

I really don't know what is causing this. I overclocked my video card as well at one point, but I put it back to normal and uninstalled rage3d so that shouldn't be a problem...
