Everything was running just fine earlier on. I shut off my computer, didnt notice anything unusual, left, came back 30 minutes later, turn it on... the screen stays on the motherboard "splash" screen with only the option to go in bios. Problem is, anything usb arent loaded as well, so my keyboard doesnt work. I tried putting my old harddrive in, same result. What gives? Everything looks like it working, video card, fans, harddrive (light is on), cdrom drive...

my spec:
A64 3200+
Antec Truepower 430W
K8N Neo Platinum
ATI X800XL 256MB
Seagate 160gb 8mb
Audigy 2 ZS

:(

Unplug any usb device
Check for any cables that came loose or just remove, reattach them
Remove soundcard

Try each one by one to see if you can find the problem.
Did you happen to update your bios?

Nope didnt do anything, just surfed the web for a while and played some CS before shutting the computer off. I tried unplugging everything except power supply cord and monitor cable. Also looked for loose cable. Havent tried removing sound card... will do... but what does it have to do with anything though?

btw, nice to see you mentallynormal, knew you from hardwarepacers/techpc...
