OK so im looking for a good 2.1 system for my computer but i am uneducated on the topic. so far ive looked for systems that come with subs like swan 2.1 systems or some Logitech but im not sure if those are the best bang for my buck.

as far as 2.1 goes i was considering these
Swan M12
and
Altec Lansing Expressionist

Im leaning more towards the altec because i love the ones i have right now.

another possibility i was considering was getting the Audio Engine A2 speakers and then possibly adding a sub. ive heard these have great sound but im still not sold on them. i like having the ability of having a lot of bass you can feel for some songs i listen too and games (awesome to feel the explosion when it happens). my dilemma with these is the can get very high depending on the sub and i have no idea which dsub to get lol. i would like to keep the price below 500 (with a sound card. considering SB x-fi but not sure which is a good one. i love my friends fatality thou)

would i be worth getting hte sound card or just using the on board audio (gigabyte UD2)

but then looking at the price of the Audioengine, i was wondering if it would be better to just get a 5.1 system like the Logitec Z-5500
