Common 9800 non-pro Overclocks, (withought bios flashing)

i just OCed mine to 405mhz core and 331mhz memory and i wanted to know if im in the ballpark of other peoples scores, thanks

what did you use to OC your GPU? I have the same one and was interested. I also was wondering why you didnt try flashing the bios, aside the obvious reasons that you could end up with a dead card but, is there anything else?

my gigacube is at 412/324...i use powerstrip for overclocking and refreshrate lock

Theres no point in flashing the card unless it can get up to those speeds eg flashing my card with a 9800pro bios wuldnt work beacause my ram cant get to those speeds. I prefer powerstrip anyway as i have a normal and oc profile so wen im in not gaming i just drop the speeds back down

I could only hit 370/335 (core/mem) without flashing my BIOS, but I flashed mine and can hit 425 on the core now.

im using http://atitool.ocfaq.com/ to OC, i found out about it from the development thread and im loving it (thanks w1zzard)

yah im not going to flash becaseu i bought mine when it was $283 during the summer and id hate to lose that much money truying to get a lil more performance out of my card
