Comment about Ultimate System Guide

I notice the system in the guide uses 4 fast 512mb modules and notes that this would give a lot of overclocking headroom.

I doubt that this is true since it's not possible to run 2 modules at DDR400 on the same channel at 1T. In that configuration you would have to either run the memory at DDR333 or 2T at DDR400 which would slow things down a lot, and I don't think they would overclock at all. The system would be faster with 2 cas 2.5 1GB modules which you could run at DDR400 1T.

Any informed comments on this since I will be building my own 2GB system very soon? :cool:
