When I'm in Command Prompt it says:
C:\Documents and Settings\Thrax>
How the hell do I get it to say C:\>
I am trying to update my vid card bios bios instructions

you do not want to attempt to flash a bios from within windows though, your best bet is to open my computer, put a floppy disk in the drive, right click on it, choose format, check the box next to "Create an MS-DOS startup disk", extract the files in the archive to that same disk, reboot with the disk in the drive, and then follow the directions.

or if you want, just type cd\ then press enter

that would require flashing the bios in windows, which is never recommended unless the program is written for it. in the directions they say to do it in dos, not in a command prompt within windows.
