Command & Conquer 3 sound problem

Im using a Creative SB Audigy 4 sound card and while playing CnC:3 Tiberium Wars the game will be running fine, then maybe 10-15 minutes into it. My sound just dies... no error messages, no warnings, nothing. Im forced to either deal with the lack of sound and keep playing or save and close the program and start it back up to get my sound back. Anyone have any suggestions? EA customer support wont help me because when i do dxdiag, it for some reason wont collect any info on my machine (System Manufactor, System Model, BIOS version. Processor, Display Manufactor, Chip Type, DAC Type, Driver and Version Type)

ok cool. weird i did a search for CnC:3 and nothing came up, or else i wouldnt have made a thread.

Like pookguy said, i sometimes get like crackling and sometimes its hard to describe but the sounds like its coming through a bad robot voice
