Coming off of a GexCube RADEON 9600 PRO

im looking at a few cards and i was wondering what you guys thought im on a very limited budget which means no x800 pro or anything that id love to have.

this summer i need 340 bucks for a soyo dragon ultra K8T800 board, and an A64 3000+

what do you guys think for a video card the 9800 PRO, the 9600XT, or the G-force FX 5900 Ultra

im not looking to spend much more than 200 bucks ill go to liek 250 at max on the vid card thanks guys.
 
You would be best off with the 9800 Pro, but make sure it is the 256 bit model, and no the 128 bit.
 
There was an issue with Sapphire, where they were selling 128bit 9800Pros, when the standard is 256bit. Which meant that it has half the memory bandwith of a standard 9800Pro and are cheaper. People were offended because they bought this card thinking it was a grab and got a standard 9800 Pro, when they had one which was slower. Sapphire corrected this, but be careful because they still might be around as a 9800Pro instead of a 9800 Atlantis.

i never really looked into vid cards and what brand that much i bought my RADEON 9600PRO like 2 years ago and that was that till now.
 
yeah id go for the sapphire 9800 pro too, are you looking to sell your 9600pro?. ive been lookig around for 9600pros and xts with good prices
 
actually i am lookign to sell my 9600PRO.

i paid liek 150 for it and my friend who lives down the street will give me 100 for it and it still goes for 140. if anyone can make an offer better than 100 its prolly yours.
 
what state you live in?. damn the shipping! but then i can get one on newegg for 111 with free shipping
