Lookin mighty mean there. I came in here thinking you had beer and tamales for us. :( :p

Hey Xil....

I think I hit the limit on what a E2140 and a Bad Ax mobo can do..... it's 2 GPU per core. It does not like 3 per core :(

Not bad sir! Keep up the good work! If I can get my borg firewall issue sorted, and get my friend off his ass and folding with that 8800 GTS 512meg I just purchased, I'll be almost up there with you.

your probably going to need to manually set the priorities of each client for each core.. set one higher then the next one or set them all to below normal..

You may have slowed me but you will not stop my mowers of doom.

So Kendrak, are you running all GPU clients now? I see no SMP clients on your list.

The amount of power my notfreds boxen where sucking up were = to a 9800GX2 each.

I get many more a point out of a GX2 for the same power.

Thanks. So with a E6400 (30$ shipped), 2Gb and a Foxconn 975X7AB (Linus from NCIX sold me this for 40$ shipped), having 2 PCI-E slots will let me have 2x 9800GX2 and just be optimal in overall use.

For now, this box will just run SMP until I have more money or find a great deal on a 9800GX2 card. However, I need to get a beefy PSU first or find a way to hook 2xEA380W together.

linky

99 bucks and all the power you could need on a 2 lane board.

I've got mine running 3x 9800GX2s :D

That is some great production Kendrak! There are not many left that can mow you down now.

I wish I could stave off lassiterb, but I don't think that is going to happen.

As I said in another thread, I enjoy sleeping in my own bed..... and the benefits that come with that.

Yes, already thought about that PSU or the PCP&C Silencer 750W too. I'll worry about that later since for now, it's just a SMP box :)
