Comcast rebranding itself to "Xfinity"

Ask people, even those who may game what eyefinity is and they probably won't be able to give a solid answer. Very few people are going to be confused by this.
 
I don't think it will matter really.

About Eyefinity though, I think that's just about the best marketing pun I've ever seen for PC hardware. Whoever came up with that needs a big cash bonus.
 
Wow, damn, the company image hole is so deep, it's better to burn bridges and sacrifice millions re-branding than it is to just fix the problems :)

With all the PR invested in the name Comcast, it's going to be a messy transition, in addition to the expense.

*I already bailed on them 6 months ago. FIOS FTW!
 
great... now i get to use xfinity.

i really wish i could dump comcast, but the only other braodband out here is Uverse, which comes out to be about 60-80 dollars a month more expensive for comparable service.
 
So is "xfinity" the opposite of "infinity"? Think of the smallest thing you can. Now imagine something 10x smaller. Now something 10x smaller than that. Now keep going on forever getting smaller and smaller - that's xfinity!
 
This has absolutely nothing to do with video cards.
