I got a shuttle system with combo drive, how do I burn cds???? ahhhhhhhhh.........help me.

what do you want to burn?

just put in a blank cd then use a program like nero to burn any files on your system.

Since you only have one optical drive....you have to put the data on your harddrive first, then write it to your blank cd.

Nero does this on its own, it just asks you where you want to put the image first, so just create a folder(call it NeroTemp or something that you prefer and can remember)and then point Nero to that one, or just let Nero do it on its own.

It really can't be more simple than that......or can it?

Put your cd in....
select cd copy from the nero wizard.....
follow the instructions.....
insert blank cd when your cd ejects.....
follow the instructions.......
Burn successful..........oh it can be that simple!

easy ... just need a hard drive in the middle!

it shouldn't even ask you where to put the image, it never asks me. it'll put it into a temp folder and delete it when it's done, unless you tell it otherwise.

I never do cd to cd copy anymore. It seems much more reliable to do the "copy to the hard drive first" thing.

Yep, but try it with 2 fast source drives. It's sweet! Heck.. I burnt a DVD->DVD on the fly copy from my crappy SD616 DVDROM to my 811S, PI/PO levels were good.

Just make sure they are on different IDE channels.
