Is there a way to make the "Forum" column narrower and the "Last post" column wider?
 
To what? It's already 1600 x 1200 on my desktops, which is the maximum for my monitors. And 1400 x 1050 on my laptop, which is also the maximum.

Having the static "Forum" column render so wide is a huge waste; the interesting information is in the "Last Post" column, which is narrow and all the informtion gets truncated.

Here's what I see on my laptop: On my desktops, it's even worse.
 
We prefer to keep a cleaner look than what you are suggesting. Thanks for the input.
