Do you guys know a place online where I can buy some lights to mount underneath my desk, not my computer. So it could be powered by AC, dont want USB or PSU powered cathodes.

I love the keyboard I have but would really like to put a light above the keyboard tray so that I can see the keys better and it will just look cool.
 
It would be pretty simple to wire a DC cold cathode to a spare AC adapter. As long as you didnt use anything overboard I dont think you would fry the cc's.

This guy did just that, but he was aiming for dim lights (ended up using a 9V / 1.0A adapter, you would prolly want more juice)
