Hello guys.
i´m working on a mod and need to buy the UV lights. All the PC lights, are cold cathode, but the intensity of the light is poor, I´ve seen 2 types, one have more pure UV light but I need 4 of them to see a little glow on things, the others are more powerfull, but they emit more normal ligh than UV so you have a lot of blue "ambient" light inside the case.

What i´ve seen that is perfect for me is the normal UV cathodes used for examlpe in pubs. They heat, but not more than a HD, so propertly refrigerated that should not be a problem,. is there any other problem on using them inside the case?
thans a lot.

cathodes are just easier because you can connect them using molex connectors, I don't see a problem with a regular uv light in your case, besides the fact that it is bigger, and you can always just cut a hole in the back for the power chord.

im useing a set of 12" cathode lights and will be adding a set of 4" ones to even out the case's lighting, i like how they light up the parts they hit, but they dont do as well as a real blub
