I want to gather a list of all the codecs people are using with their boxes and their relevant hardware.

X800XL GPU
PVR-150 MCE
Sony DVD
I use VMR9 and SageTV audio
Trying to fine tune DScaler and FFDShow see if I can clean up my DVD

One thing I can tell you is not to install those "codec packs" like K-lite, etc; they're all mostly junk and will lead to problems.

The only codecs I have install are FFDShow, NV codec, Xvid and AC3 filter.

Agreed. FFDShow is all i use for decoding. encoding is a different story. OR you can throw mplayer on your computer and all the codecs are built in.
