Code 43 on second R9 290 after Crimson install

Haven't found any definitive fixes online - everything I found and tried has failed.

After installing Crimson, my second R9 290X has gone into code 43 in device manager and nothing has worked to coax it out. I've uninstalled it, ran driver cleaner, reinstalled drivers, tried installing drivers manually on it.

Anyone else run into this and fixed it?
 
Yeah. The only thing that happened was during the Crimson install, I got a blue screen and had to reboot. Reinstalled it after that it seemed OK, apart from the second card 'failing'.
