I was just playing COD4 and it was using OVER A GIG of memory alone...:(

I know and expected crysis to be doing this, but even crysis only used about 750-800mb of ram... nothing like a GIG. Seriously, wtf is going on?

Btw, Vista Ultimate 64bit edition. Could it be tied to Vista itself?

Its not Vista, COD4 likes to cache everything in memory. When I used to play in the higher populated servers 32v32 mem usage would sometimes creep around 1.5gb.

When I wait for a 4v4 game start in AOE3:AD, if can fire up COD4 and play a few rounds till the game gets full (though I do have to wait for the level to load if I want to alt tab back into AOE3.

I mean, i do have 4 gigs of ram, but i prefer to see my memory gauge below 50%

im in xp and my ram usage is around 750mb and crysis is like 1300mb. no complaints i have 3.5gigs (as xp sees it)
