Well gogamer has some good deals up again for PC Games. Here is a list of a few of the games. Here is the link to the the site www.gogamer.com it's all on the front page.

COD4 Modern Warfare $30.90

And a few more games on sale. I'm getting Timeshift and GRAW2.
 
It comes to @ $33.50 shipped. Most places are charging $39.99 + shipping, so I would say thats a pretty good deal.
 
If anyone's wondering, this import version of COD4 works just fine online here in the states. Great game!

A friend of mine tried the Lynch & Kane and liked it. Mostly for it's carnage more than anything else. I myself have looked at Timeshift real hard for it looks like a simple FPS with the ability to warp time. Seems kinda cool, and for the price it is a good time waster.

Ordered mines last night. The last time they had this deal was in November right?
 
Timeshift is currently clearanced at Target... it's $34.90 now, but Target drops video game clearance prices on a weekly / biweekly basis, so sooner or later it will end up sub $10 because I doubt anyone will buy it. They usually go 30% off, then 50%, 70 / 75%, then 90%. Kane and Lynch is clearanced too (at least at my Target) along with Tabula Rasa and Two Worlds.

Just a heads up for everyone who may be interested but wants to wait.
 
Amazon has it for $40 shipped, for me they usually ship ups and I get it in a day due to my proximity to their west coast shipping center.
Something to think about, great buy though, got one from them last time around.
 
Thanks, finally grabbed COD4 and UT3... $73 after shipping (I opted for Fedex ground as I want it by next week hopefully)
 
To add to my other post, some people on Slickdeals have already found Timeshift and Kane & Lynch for $12.48 at Target, so if you are close to one or going to it anyways, it's worth a look in the clearance section.

where is the clearence section usually at in the store in the pc game isle???
 
At my Target's, it's usually on an endcap in electronics somewhere... it's usually close to the televisions.

They will put all the electronics clearance in that one section.
 
It may be awhile before my computer is up to par for even playing modern warfare. I suppose I will wait for the next time it's on sale.
 
Is this GoGamer is reputable site? I was going to make an order but a little concerend. Any feedback from this joint?
 
Aren't they located in Lake Forest, CA? I least thats what the package says. Mailed from zip 92630. Ive ordered COD4 Thursday and the package arrived Saturday. That is as fast as newegg which is about 100 miles from where I live.
 
some of their regular and sale prices suck though. Timeshift has been $29.99 for weeks now at every store I have seen it in not the $49.90 MSRP they are claiming. Also they have STALKER "on sale" for $29.90 and list the MSRP as $42.90 which is funny because STALKER released at $39.99 and has been $19.99 for several months.
 
Thanks for the update with this company! Did not know where they were located, of if they were a fraudulant operation, as they have no company info listed!

But since you guys have bought from them in the past with no problems, I will pick up the COD 4 Special.:D
 
I have been buying from them for over 3 years now. I have had only one incident with them that took a little time to work out. Which was not there fualt, but the post office. Even on that they gave me money back. I trust them and buy from them all the time.

No one store is going to have great prices on every single item. GoGamer has good prices and decent service more often than not.

yeah I know its just some of their MSRP prices are inflated to make it look like you are getting a good deal or that something is "on sale". ;)
 
Prior to purchasing the COD 4 International Version, what is the difference?

Has to be something as it is discounted $20 for this version....:eek:

Well, after doing some research I WOULD NOT buy the International Version from Gogamer.com.

1) you will have a bitch at getting updates / patches for this version
2) these are copies from Australia / United Kingdom - Region Code Concerns

Just ordered mine from Newegg.com

Why chance it, and get screwed!
 
You are making too big a deal of this.

I have had NO issues getting updates/patches or playing the game with full blood and everything.

In fact, I ordered another one for a buddy who helped me move this weekend.

Order away and fear not, you will not have any issues with patches or region codes.
 
Sorry Charlie, you must work for them or something the way you prmote that them. For a couple of bucks more, why hastle with it.

Heck, I called Activision, and they informed me that the USA patches WILL NOT work on this version. This game is TOO NEW to know, as there are no patches released yet.

are you saying that there are no patches for CoD4? um, CoD4 is at version 1.5 so yes there have several patches.
 
I've brought many "International" version games from gogamer, including COD4. I have yet to have any problems with the games themselves or the patches. Gogamer has been selling the COD4 international version for a while already, and the game is so popular, if there was a serious problem, a lot of people would be complaining on the forums.
 
I have bought International versions many times. I have never had any problems. I have not tried the COD4 international version, but I cannot see where it would not work. The International version should work just fine. The patches should work just fine to. I know anytime I have bought video cards, and they have games bundled with them they are international versions. Only thing that I notice different about them is they have more ratings on them.
 
I just got mine today. Ordered Thursday night. It works fine. This is one awesome game. Even the training stage pulls me in. Finally putting my 8000 GT to use!
