COD WAW: what ports to forward?

I searched google and other COD sites and there's no info on what ports WAW requires open. I can't join any servers.
 
i know i'm not specifically addressing your question, but did you apply the v1.1 patch?
 
yup i already installed th latest patch. the game manual reads: "we recommend NOT using a router for multiplayer online play, but if you must, then ffs at least open firewall", so I'm guessing I also need to open ports like I did with cod4.

are they the same ports for cod5? and why is it so hard to find an answer from the many cod5 related sites on the net?
 
not sure, i'm using a router and have windows firewall enabled (vista). i didn't have to jump through any of these hoops for COD4 or COD:WaW. sorry i can't be of more help man. maybe a more knowledgeable [H] member will chime in.
