Does anyone still play this game? I played it years ago. It was the BEST multiplayer, I had so much fun playing the vehicle maps.

We were just discussing this at work the other day. I need to install it again soon. Good times!

Yeah id like to know to if the servers are still populated. I used to rock out with the 1st red devils...those were the days!

Oh god, I remember camping on top of a shelled out garage in Foy with a buddy of mine and some sniper rifles for hours. It was right next to a cannon and right across the frozen river from us was a tank spawn and it was endless fun blowing up the idiots who tried to get inside of that tank. All in all I say that the original CoD maps were better, infantry > vehicle combat in that game. Just look at how IW keeps reusing those maps, Carentan, Brecourt...

One of the best MPs I have ever played, just too bad that someone else started to play with my cd key \:

Yeah I never got into COD2 too much so I was surprised when there wasnt any UO like expansion for it.

Oh man COD: UO brings back so many great memories. Mostly from the epic base assault games that seemed to last all night. The maps were so well made that most of the time it seemed it came down to the last base for both teams, that game felt so balanced. You could be getting base raped by enemy tanks but still would seem to have a half decent chance at coming back and winning even the same round, well cept for kursk :p Then on top of it you throw in all the amazing maps and mods that made it even better, like the barbarossa map. I was kind of half hoping cod 2 wouldn't come out so soon, because I didn't want everyone to leave UO, but thankfully that didn't happen

Oh man, I missed those classic maps. Even going back to COD original. Man...

They need to put those back into the game.

Even the best one I love now is a remake of the original map, Wasteland in MW2

I know there are still people playing it though there is some fix you have to do with the recent Nvidia drivers at least in Windows 7 64-bit.

I absolutely loved CoD:UO. Well balanced class based gameplay with a very solid group of maps.

Tanks kept sniper/mg campers from getting too abusive and infantry were just enough of a threat to keep vehicles from being too overpowered. I always wished CoD4:MW got a vehicle based expansion with Humvees, Tanks, etc.

Sadly our new console overlords and there P2P connections could never handle that kind of gameplay. Oh well, BF:BC2!!!!

That was my favorite COD, and I would be playing still if I could get it to run on my Vista 64bit machine.

It wont run on vista? Will it run on 7 then? How can I get an idea of how many servers are up without installing and patching lol....I need to steam to havethe war chest thing go on sale.

this was one of my favorite games of all time. god it was such a good game. shows the power of the q3 engine!

Me and some guys from work recently fired up COD:UO again for our weekly game night. Even resurrected the AWE mod for it again. It was fun for a few weeks (due mostly to the nostalgia factor) but it got tiring fairly soon. We've been spoiled with the COD4s etc and it's tough to go back. Still, it was a nice trip down memory lane while it lasted. Suiciding people was a lot of fun :D.
