COD 4 starts up, but after a couple of seconds it closing and gives me this? This is launch it from steam( if that matters). I have the newest nvidia drivers.

From steam. When you choose it in steam, it asks to launch the game or mp. When one is chose, the game with launch, but crash because of the above error.

Steam FTL, try reinstalling the game? Looks like a file seems to be missing.
 
I guess it was a problem with steam. I deleted and downloading again. Now it works.
