Coaxial adapter?

Here's my plan, buy a 2405 sell my 27" CRT TV and use my 2405 as my primary display for PC work and entertainment including television. I don't watch a lot of cable television but I wanted to know if there was a (cheap) device that can convert a regular coaxial RF cable signal to some form of composite or component input + input for sound to a reciever or other sound device. I know the option of having a PC TV tuner card exists but wanted to know if there are any other options.

Its not going to look real good with a standard definition tv card.

I would go with a HD Cable box into the component inputs or get one of the ATI HD Cards.

It's just going to be for standard cable. No HD option exists in this area yet to my knowledge unless I were to get VOOM or something but I don't like credit cards and I'd need one to get a satellite I think. I don't watch enough TV to justify spending a ton of money on a fancy converter box. The more I think about it a TV tuner card would probably be the most economic solution. My first Pac Bell PC from ancient times had a TV tuner card and I have fond memories of it, I think I may go that route instead

You could also buy a Viewsonic Nextvision box that converts Cable, Composite, S-video, and componet to VGA. Have your computer hooked to the DVI and the Nextvision to the VGA.
