Okay i would definitley go with the lian li v200 no doubt, but one problem i see is the evo 360 radiator i got, i'm wondering if the evo 360 can be mounted on top of the lian li? i've seen it done on a cm stacker, or can it be done ont he bottom of the lian li? Any help.

V2000 everyday. The Stacker looks like a cheap POS when sitting next to a V2000.

If it won't fit in a Lian-Li V2000 then it won't fit in anything else! The V2000 is a server case meaning it is about 3-4" deeper than regular cases like the V1000 case. Your V2000 case will be just fine :D

Man your going to steal my case, they do look that good and there is guy down here in SD that has one but he owns a computer store and got hooked up. I think they will be out in acouple of weeks.

Hook me up! Too bad it isn't next week as I will be down there on Wednesday.......

The only thing I don't like about the V series is the board is upside down, and you lose two PCI slots on most boards when you installa top mounted radiator. Now that I have the DFI NF4 board, I only have one open PCI slot and the others are blocked.........

I know how that goes, i had 0 open PCI slots but that MSI board had some good onboard sound. I know there is another person that posts here and is getting one soon, when i go back over to the that guys shop i will ask him if there is an ETA on a good sized shipment. The only thing i didnt like is the gap on the front top and where the usb slot are also. I got some fiberglass and bondo left so im starting to get some more ideas.

V2000 is the way to go... You can mod it, you can easily water cool it and as a plus... IT HAS A LOT of room... no doubt, V2000 is the way to go (for now, becuz that CMRC-830 looks pretty cool) :)

I hope they fix the spacing on the CM Stacker2,
I have the Stacker1 and it has weird spacing on the sides of my aquabay

Pretty much same problem with the V Series! Mine has a gap too.

New stacker is nice, good cooling. But if they make it out of aluminium, it'll suck balls(unless theres a larger steel version of it). The stacker has a rep for being strong and non-flimsy, the opposite to lian-li cases which, although being built very well, are flimsy and vibratey as all hell.

The people at coolermaster need to realise the reason people but the stacker is strength and size, both of which they've removed and minimized respectfully. I want two PSUs, where can i stick the second one? i want 3 fans at the front aswell as CD drives, where will they go? all a bit of termaltake premodded wank IMO.

I lay the blame on ignorant company people and a demand, from wankers, for cases with bits of 'flare'. Fuck off, give me the stacker 1 any day over anything thermaltake can attempt to create. Coolermaster makes simple, elegant cases, why should they stop?

Side Note: If there is a larger, steel version of this second one (can handle 2 psu and 12 front bays), i'll take back all i've said, if not, i mean every bit of it.

That stacker 2 looks sick as hell. I love how its compatible with btx as well. That thing has the most modular design ive ever seen. sickness!

i ran into that with my shrouds - a lot of people wanted to mount a 77 b'ville with shroud in the lower front of the case -- in some stackers it would drop right in but in others they had to shave a couple of mm off of each side of the shrouds mounting lip. That was a big "WTF??" as all of the shrouds are cut on laser cnc and bent on cnc and checked afterwards (hence, they are damn tight dimension-wise) -- I did a double check on the 50+ shrouds I had at the time and they were all within a fraction of a fraction of an inch so I asked checked the dimensions on the stackers' bay width and they did not match up. I like the stackers but the tolerances could be a bit tighter.

My Weapon Shroud wouldn't fit either, so this is what I ended up doing with your shroud and an Alphacool NexXXos XP in my stacker:

I've got the V2000B.
I think I'd go with the CMstacker if I had to do it again.

The stacker looks much easier to implement Hardcore WC.

the V2000 just seems more cramped.

I think I just found my next case, as long as it is really as nice as it looks. :D
werd!

The stacker isnt any bigger, but for WC is better layed out, because installing a rad in teh top will not loose you any pci slots. The only issue you have is finding something to do with the tops of the front pillars if you take the swooshy bit off. which is easily solved with a little bit of ingenuity.

Stacker 2 803 is much better for me than a v2000b, it has plenty of bays, airflow and is all 2mm thick sturdy aluminum, for water cooling the v2000 is fine but for an air cooled sli machine the v2000 can't hang stock:

Dude the Stakcer 2 is ugly as sin, and is a travesty against the name in every possible way (ill give you teh 4x120 sidepanel). Stacker 1 is the king of good cases, not a trace of plastic in anywhere improtant (drive rails dont count) and no fscking door! God i hate doors on cases.

/vent

Seriously though, with the way the top is youre gonna be screwed for anything bigger than a 120mm rad, unless you want to mount your psu in a drive bay somewhere.

hmmm i guess i'll just hold off on buying the case then for a few months and wait for the cmstacker 2, and just for now cool my GPU on my P4 stacker.

Well if you are planning on waiting a few months then you can also get one of the new Lian-Li V series of cases that are being specifically built for water cooling from the ground up. I'm going to go look at the prototype case this week. :D I would expect to see production units available in about 2 months.

No links because it's top secret ;) Lian-Li would probably deny it even exists at this point and since it is being made as a special edition for exclusive distribution. IOW, you will only be able to buy it from one place in the USA.

Surely the V series are out already? V-1000/2000 etc? Thats a bloody confusing naming convention if they mean V as in 5.

Or did you mean the V+ cases, that are on Lian Lis front page?

I'm not talking about V+ series cases. No it is a special edition of the V series cases specifically changed to facillitate water cooling. It will pretty much look like a V series case, but will be set up internally with changes to make it easy to set up water cooling.

You will not find anything about this on the internet anywhere. Like I said I am going to see a PROTOTYPE case this week.

Fair enough, thought you were talking about an entirely new line, but still stacker >*

I agree Herulach I hate case doors also and plan to remove it, I think it is removable anyways. I would like a seperate compartment in a lower section for the power supply like the p180: http://www.silentpcreview.com/article249-page2.html
But that's not too big a deal since it will be water cooled. The radiator position for me will work fine on the stacker 2 but some people might like the stacker one better.

I have the v2000b and I am having trouble fitting SLI with the evo 360. If your doing SLI make sure your mobo has the pci express slots close unlike my DFI board .

Goku, I have the 2100 Which is the same as your 2000 with a door.

Not sure what you're talking about with spaces for SLi.

Take a peek at mine.

I'm talking about having them water cooled. My DFI board has the SLI slots farther apart then most boards and with my RAD and fans it only fits one board. Which really sucks

PIX radiators work since they are 1/2 the thickness of an EVO radiator.

then that's an issue with your mobo not with li lian heh

What happens if you move the radiator all the way forward? BTW, ASUS all the WAY!

I've decided to go with the cmstacker 1, ordered it for 151 bux on amazon free shipping, i think the stacker will work out better for my evo360, i won't lose any pci slots
