CMSS-3D or ProLogic II

I want to hear your opinion what gives better sound (playing mp3 on stereo to 5.1) X-Fi CMSS-3D or Dolby ProLogic II, to hear sound on all speakers in 5.1 home theater. Tnx.

I'd say X-Fi. But this is more of a bump than anything.

Ok, I understand it is more then subjective but just want to hear what do you think.

If you're going digital out from card to an external HT receiver, I see no reason not to select ProLogicll in the receiver if you want the surround effect for 2channel music.

Bottom line to your question: All other variables aside, I would choose the ProLogicll.

I personally prefer ProLogicII over CMSS-3D for 5.1.
