We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

because they're all the same 3-column cluttered layout that requires more content than most people have. i just use wordpress and modified the css for blix to look nice. all the *nukes are just overkill...the control panels are irritating. drupal's nice but the nicer themes don't generally render well in IE (surprise surprise).

In order to have any website at all I would need something to put on it. So far I haven't found anything.

However, I sort of maintain one for a friend of mine, using wordpress. It's fairly easy to use and had some features he wanted. Less work than writing it myself. :)

Hmm, bluetechs first posts are one-liner questions with a poll...

I tried doing things with HTML, but I dont have the sanity to edit pages after pages, if I decide to change something. Ive tried mambo, which is bloated and seems to be a real pain in the ass for getting things rendered correctly (such as not having pictures shove text way off the screen). Joomla is the same, and it seems all of the damn "Free" template sites offer the same exact 3 basic plain templates which suck some serious nuts. joomlahut points to mambohut, and the mambohut has been down since the dawn of time.

Phpnuke seems to be really limited, and that about sums up the CMSs ive messed with.

Im still concerned with the server load, in the future Im looking toward Co-Location, probably a dual opteron box. But seeing how it took 22 seconds for my K6-500 to serve up just the index page, and how my 1.8Ghz A64 rig can barely handle 6000 hits per hour to the default joomla page...Im not quite sure if its such a great idea.
