For about the past two weeks my computer has been "gaining" time. Dunno why...usually if it keeps losing time that would indicate the CMOS battery. Also, I got a BSOD when I restarted once. Nothing is overclocked. Just wondering what your thoughts may be. Please help.

Your local Radio Shack carries lithium batteries.
Do what I do, bring the battery with you.
Also, if that doesn't fix it, you may want to consider updating your bios software/frimeware. Though that is a perilous endeavour that can end up with your motherboad no longer functioning - and needing a trip to the manufacturer.
Depending on what Operating System you are using, you could have the Windows Time disabled.

You sure you have the clock set to the right time zone?
It could be that you have the wrong time zone and it's syncing up with time.windows.com.
