First of all, I'm new to the forum, so I just wanna say Hello.

Ok, on to my question.
I built my first gaming rig 6 months ago, using a HAF 932, but I've been a bit dissappointed with that case.
So I've been shopping around for a replacement, I checked out the sniper black edition, and it seems perfect,
except I can't seem to get a clear answer on one thing,
are there dust filters installed on the front and side intake fans?
This was one of my main issues with the HAF, that thing sucks in so much dust,
and I don't much care for the whole "women's underwear" approach to dust filters,

any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are dust filters but they are attached to the front bezel and side panel. So you have to remove the front bezel and side panel to clean.
The bay covers have removable dust filters.
 
It has metal mesh (like a fine window screen) behind all the metal hex-grills (drive bays, intake fans, side panel). It doesn't have any filter mesh on the bottom, where my psu pulls in air from, so I had to cut some foam filters to stick in the bottom valence.
 
The black edition has a cloth/metal mesh on the side panel that acts as a filter, it covers the entire non-metal part of the side panel.

The front has a removable, snap on filter that can be easily taken off (a little tough the first time) for cleaning.

Overall I love this case. One point of warning, the side and top panels can be a bitch and a half to take off, but the airflow is amazing.

One more thing, the front dust filter for the 200mm fan can be removed separately from the front bezel. It has the "micromesh" filter that does not allow the little dust bunnies to enter. If you have fine dust like from a desert sand, the mesh will not protect it as much. Lint and carpet dust will be no issue.
 
Random Sniper tip: from the factory the wires come off the side panel fan in the bottom rear corner, rotate it 180 degrees so they come off at the top front corner and you'll have a lot easier time routing wires.

I'm also looking to get rid of my Mugen 2 cpu cooler, its a great performer, but its so freaking huge!
I've been looking into getting the Prolimatech Armageddon with 140mm in push/pull, since the Megahalems cant fit in that orientation because of my Dominator RAM, is this a good choice or do you have any other suggestions? has to fit my gigabyte EX-58-UD5
