Got a Stacker at Newegg (luv Newegg).
It is not the newer 830 model, but the previous model STC-T01.
My question is the physical spacing for the add in cards. I mounted an ASUS MB using the supplied standoffs, and all the output ports on the back of the MB line right up to the cutouts.
What does not line up is the top of any PCIX or PCI cards. When I put them in, the cards cannot fully seat into the slots. The top of each cards bracket hit the case ledge before the card gets fully seated. The result is the part of the card that is furthest away from the back of the case is fully snapped in, but the part right next to the bracket is about 1/8 inch exposed.
I have never seen this on a case before. That is supposed to be a standard spacing.
Has anyone else seen this before?
The only way to fix it that I can see would be to cut off the top of every cards bracket, or cut the Stacker case. Either way, I would not be able to use the standard screws to secure the cards.
