CM Stacker or LL 6077?

I have the 6077.
Still awaiting my CPU and PSU to finish off the system though.

I can tell you this though. Its GREAT!
I have zero complaints so far and I've done a lot with it so far.
The 9 x 5.25" bays leaves a lot of flexability for any mod ideas.
I bought an extra HDD rack, model Ex-23 (about 20-$25) and modded it a little to be used as an intake. After purchasing this case, I'll never buy anything but Lian Li's from here on out.

I have a stacker right now, and it's alright I guess... I'm probably going to sell it off in like 3 months or so.

It's got tons of room, but if you don't need/use it, it's a waste really... not really good for lanning either.

But it does have its good points. Good airflow, lots of options on where you want to mount things. Plenty of space to work your hands inside the case. No sharp edges. Very sturdy/rugged. Capeable of taking dual power supplies. Large size for WC needs. etc etc.

It's weird though because you're comparing a stacker to a Lian-Li 6077. It Seems to me you should be looking at the V2000 or PC70 class of Lian-Li's because it's in the same catergory. Or vice versa, like you should be looking at the Praetor Coolermaster because they are in the same class as the Lian-Li 6077.

It just seems odd that you're looking at two cases that don't have a lot of similarities other than the material, and that they both house computer hardware... heh.

Ok, well I ordered the 6077, now another question...

How hard is it to cut a 120mm fan hole on the side panel? I never did any form of modding before so it would be my first time. Would using a holesaw work best? Also what size bit would I need to make a 120mm and an 80mm hole?

Hole saw will work best if you have a good drill, but make sure you get METAL hole saws, the wood ones will just get chewed up. And the hole saw is identified by diameter, so just buy the closest one to the fan size (go a little under if you are going to dremel sand down the edges afterwards)

Agreed. Its nice for a server, but not a home/lanparty machine.

Any case that comes with *wheels* is probably not a good choice for lanparties. (Although there's enough room to embed a 17" LCD into the side panel, so maybe it could work after all.)
