CM Stacker.... my options

I haven't been WCing for a few months now, but I want to get back into it. I've got my heart set on the original stacker. THey finally came out with a black side panel window, so i'm sold. Now here's my dilema. I want to install a 2x120mm rad, but not in the front. Ive got 3 hard drives, 2 cd roms, a floppy, the front connectors, and a few fan speen controllers ive got to fit up there. There just isnt room. So, ive got two options.

Option A, two 120mm rads. I could put one on the rear 120mm spot, then either one on top, one on bottem, or one in the front.

Option B, 2x120mm rad on the bottem. This seems to make more sence. How restirctive is the fan grill on the bottem of the case? I would use 4x120mm low speen fans in push pull. THe other problem would be that I was going to have the pump there, wher should I move that to?

Suggestions?
 
are you sure that you wouldn't be interested in the stacker 810, with it's pre-existing adjacent 120 mm fan ports, where you could mount a 2x120mm rad very easily?

That is tricky as the holes don't line up all the way making it necessary to only use one of the 120mm fans to mount to the case. If you have an X1800XT/XL, it wont fit. Works fine with a 7800GTX.

ouch......didn't realize.
 
Removing the grill from the bottom vent is easy and the resulting hole is fine for an intake for a 120.2 rad.
I ran a Weapon 342 single pass core this way and found that two fans pulling was more than sufficient.
Unless you convert to pseudo-BTX (i.e. flip the mobo tray) you may run into clearance issues with your vid card.

How am I gunna run into clearance issues? There is a few inches after the mobo ends with dead space. The rad should end long before I even hit the bottem of the mobo, let alone the video card(s). At this point, I am more concirned about what I would do about a pump. there should be room for it to go next to the rad though, on the bottem.

Don't want the PSU on the bottem. It makes cable management alot harder.
 
I don't know that much about the stacker, but what about a 2.120 on the top? I know it fits in the old ATCS cases

Meh, not really necessary. I don't need to mod the top when there are pleanty of other spots. I think I am going with the bottem.

This is why you might run into clearance issues...

The pictured Weapon 342 core/shroud/fan assembly is probably thicker than most regular (i.e., non-heatercore based) rads, but you can see how it overlaps the motherboard in this install.
Just something to keep in mind....
 
i certianly wont have that issue. Im gunna use a BIP2, much thinner rad, and im certianly not going to have a shroud that big on it. I'll be fine.
