anyone have good experiences with these? my generic case overheats, and these seem like they fit what I want. I just want to know if theyre worth it or not.

oh, and I'm talking about the CAC-T05 model. It cheap I know, etc,etc...but I'm the kind of person who likes to work with what they have :D

good good

I figured the reviews on the Egg were enough, but I wanted some outside opinions on it.

i like everything about it cept the damn 80mm fan in the front, i have to fan control that one cus its really loud and annoying with a high pitch whine that comes with most fans that size.

i dont like the look of em.

Me either...I think im gonna go with this one.

And about the 80mm fan....its not a problem, this is gonna by my first experiment into watercooling :)

thanks for all the feedback, guys!

The fit and finish of the motherboard tray isn't the best. I've built half a dozen machines in these cases, and sometimes the I/O shield doesn't sit right, so your motherboard doesn't lay properly in the tray. It's something you can work with and get to work right, it just takes a litte force and a little swearing.

Overall the case isn't horrible, and it looks ok, but I think you can do better for the money.

what would you suggest?

I don't know really. I don't typically look at that many cases. Both my motherboards are E-ATX, so only a handfull of cases suit my needs. Honestly I haven't looked in awhile. I've worked with the normal Antecs, CM Praetorian, Antec P180, Antec Sonata I and II, CM Centurion 5, some crap by thermaltake, Antec SuperLanboy, and a few others. The Praetorian (the classic one) was my favorite.

I would go for a classic Praetorian if my damn PC components could possibly fit in one.

I'm more into the 50-70 dollar price range...I dont think I should have to spend $100+ on a case that I'm planning on cutting up anyway.

werd that case is soo simple, sleek, and clean!

wow tazzman...

I think I'm sold. seeing what youve done has made me realize what I can do to that case...

*edit*

oh and by the way...how easy is it to hide cables in that case?

Not the best, There is room on the dead side of the cage.
First thing to do is take the front cover off and re route the front panel wireing to the dead side of the cage.
I kinda like a few wires, I like to sleave em and add a UV, then route them to high light the case.

Thanks for the info...

I guess I'm just gonna have to see what I can do :)
