Ok I have the Cavalier with that stupid analog dial thing on the front and I can't figure out why its not working. i have it plugged in the way it should be and it just never works at all. Same with the one on my dads cavalier.
 
You mean the tachometer looking thing?

I'm not familiar exactly with how CM did it, doesn't it measure CPU usage or something? Does it connect via USB? Serial? Parallel? I know the tachometer mod they sell at Xoxide uses a piece of software, do you have that installed? Also, what OS are you using, most Windows products since 98se (probably ME) had to have an extra .dll installed to make windows create a virtual IO port or something (just something I remember from trying to get a homebrew LCD to run on Windows 2k). Did you do that correctly?
 
What sound card are you using? The front panel is only compatible with 2.1 stereo. You can use a 5.1 card, just hook it up to the center channel. Double check to see if all of your connections a secure. If that doesn't work, contact Cooler Master at customersupport@coolermaster.com. You just might have a lemon.
 
the sound itself works fine. im talking about the round blue dial on the front left called the "musketeer sound pressure guage" its got a needle and db measurements on it. i have it all plugged in right but it just wont work when sound is played through it. it just sits there and does nothing glowing blue. im tempted to get a new case because i hate things that dont work like that.
 
If it's the same sound meter found on the musketeer you have to turn your volume in windows up fairly high before it begins to read. It's not very sensitive and that's tributed to it being cheap. Try that. I doubt it could be faulty if your saying it does the same with your dad's case too... however not impossible. Oh and if you have like a 5.1 type soundcard you need to connect the line into the right jack. I think the one with the center/sub jack is the one you want to plug it in.
