I think it is great that people post their problems and get help. After all, lots of smart people on the boards.
However, why can't those people requesting help also post their SOLUTION!!! Let us know how they fixed it, didn't fix it, or whatever. Just give us some closure.
My computer won't boot, what should I do? So a bunch of people give of their time to type in some advice, and then.. nothing. No thanks for the tips, no summary of the problem, no description of what they did to fix it, nothing!!!
I know, some people do, but most don't.
Don't those people realize that by sharing their experience, they are helping everyone else? Just seems selfish and even rude.
Why should someone spend their time trying to help if they don't get any feedback? I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for some of the mods, like Ice Czar on the Data Storage forum. Always giving advice and trying to help, and in return, nada.
