Hi everyone first time poster. I would like to know on a closed loop system like corsair or Thermaltake that has 2 fans is it ok to change the rear exhaust fan to a different one like a 3000 rpm fan and run it off the case fan controller and not plugged into the motherboard cpu 2 plug.

Thank You

Yes you can change fans, and it doesnt need to be on the motherboard. I would run just a single fan in that case, best practice is to run the same spec fan on a radiator

Hi Thank You now to move onto the world of liquid cooling LOL. I have bad visions of coolant leaking all over my nice parts hehe
