Ok, so I'm buying a pair of Raptors to put in to Raid 0 to use as my OS/games drive.

First question, should I get a seperate RAID card or can I use the RAID controller on the board with out taking a performace hit? (I have an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe.)

Second question, once I've set up the Raid array can I use one of the cloning programs on the Ultimate Boot CD to clone the old OS drive to the two Raptors?

Final question, can I clone the OS drive while I'm running off of it, or does there have to be a third drive with an OS to run off of?

Thanks for all the help, it seems straight forward but I thought I should find out for sure before diving in head first.

Search "RAID" all your answers and more info than you could posibly read has already been posted....3 or 4 hundred times :)
