Hi, I recently upgraded from Windows Vista 64bit to Windows 7. For some odd reason, most of my games now display in yellow text the time in the top right corner. What is causing this? Is it Windows 7? and how do I turn the clock off?

I thought it was ATI Tray Tools but I turned that off and it's still there. FRAPS isn't running and it's not X-Fire.

Any ideas?

I have no idea. But it's most likely something you installed.

Any chance of getting a pic? Maybe a shot of task manager as well?

It happens in most games but not all such as Oblivion. Here are several screenshots resized:

Here is the task manager:

That looks like XFire to me.
If your running XFire just bring up the settings for it while in game (scroll lock +X) and then in the lower left corner you can pull up the XFire in game settings. Then just uncheck the show time thing.
Looks the same as what i have in my screenshots.

Odd, it was xfire after all. When I loaded a game, xfire was always loaded in the background but I minimised the game and shut xfire off thinking if it was the cause of the clock that it would go but it still remained. Loading a game up without xfire running in the first place resulted in no clock so I took your advice and disabled the clock.

Thanks very much!
