Who cares. Either make something and show it off, or no one cares. Riding on the success of games from around 2 decades ago does not mean that much.

I think that is a bit different. Not as many space games, it is more of an MMO where people usually spend insane amounts of money, and the scheme was a lot more elaborate. Doubt you can pull off the same thing when we already have AAA games like Destiny, Hellbreakers, etc. for whatever this guy wants to do.
