Well, the problem could be a few things. Make sure that:
1) Your internet connection is ok. Yeah, it's a dumb thing, but sometimes, that's the problem.
2) No firewall is blocking you.
3) Check on the server status. They go down sometimes. There's even a key there to tell you what all the columns mean. I don't know how (besides doing a netstat) to tell which server your client is trying to connect to...maybe someone else here can pipe up?

You may want to check the Can't Upload FAQ

try stopping and restarting the client, or re boot the computer

thx for the replys, interweb=ok, firewall should be ok, the application is set to be passed through. not to sure on server status, but it didnt look like many were down.

went to the page, got nothing, good or bad? it was ablank page

edit i was able to ping the webpage though

I had a similar issue with NF4's built-in firewall.. I can't remember any details, but it was intermittent, and the firewall itself is buggy as hell, I had to reformat and never bothered to reinstall it. If nothing else makes sense, that MIGHT be your problem. (if you have a board with it and the drivers installed) I know at the time I asked about it and produced some logs, several guys came out of the woodwork and mentioned similar problems.

I had is set to pass through my firewall, but it wasnt working... fixed it eventualy... pain. Thx for the help.
