O.k. I have a plexi case that I picked up from Xoxide when they were having the new years clearance sale. I want to mod the thing a tad, but I can't seem to come up with a color scheme. I was thinking black/red, black/green or black/purple. Yet there are way too many black and blue cases out there. I want something that will stick out at a lan party or whatever.

I am going to paint the case, yes paint a clear case. I have seen where people have painted the inside of the plexi and it turns out really really good. I'll post pics when I can paint, it is a tad cold here.

Looking for some suggestions on what to do. Seems the only color case fans I can find are blue, white, red, purple, and green.

my next system with either be orange or white. everyone has blue, red, and green (which i currently have also)

its just that having something different is pretty cool
get a few of those lightning sticks otherwise.

I have two white neon cases =P

Want something original with your clear case? Etch something into it for design. I'm putting a penguin on my clear one with both blue and white neons.
 
I'm working on a white case, with various color highlights.

How about pink and green?


Yeah, I know, fugly, but it would stand out at a LAN party.
 
I am thinking about going with the Mac G4 Cube, or Mini Mac look, the pearl white with some white led fans.

I think I may go get me a scrap piece of plexi and a few diffrent colors of krylon to see what it looks like... decided from there.

Pink and Green would stand out. also make my case look like a horrible infection on ones arm or something.

Just out of curiosity, when you're at a LAN party, what exactly are you paying attention to? Personally i pay attention to the computer screen, not the case. I wouldn't worry so much about making the colors stand out, just make something cool...like mount it on an R/C car and have it drive in circles all night.
 
Myself, I bought some automotive window tint to use on the plexi case I'm building, I saw a tutorial somewhere claiming it worked well, but still havn't tested or decided where I want it.
