I have this swiftech water block and the copper has discolored because I left it out for a while and I'm wonder what i can use to clean the surface.
 
if its the outside and its not anodized you could just use a high grit sandpaper. thats what i did to the copper on my maze3's
 
Man I wouldn't touch mine with sandpaper... the swiftech stock finish on the base of their waterblocks is absolutely prestine... There is no way I'd go ruining that with some unprofessional hand-sanding job..

You should e-mail swiftech and just ask them what to do.. maybe you can just lightly clean it with something. Maybe it's harmless..
